I spent the morning today at UltraLab at a workshop on ePortfolios led by Dr. Helen Barrett. If you don't know her work go look at her site right now. Yes now.
I was really inspired so thanks Helen. And yes I did mean what I said, when you get back to NZ I want to book you to come out to Lincoln University.
I may work in teriary, but I was so taken with your grand daughter's ePortfolios that I just have to do a "Carol's year" and send it to the folks back in the UK. Tom Smith (see his blog on my list) re-captivated my interest in Blogs earlier in the year and I can already see me spending Xmas vac looking at ePortfolio software and running some PD sessions for our staff.

Hi Carol I just discovered your blog--great stuff! I'm so pleased you enjoyed Helen's workshop. She is so inspirational with her common-sense approach to learning. I'm hoping to do more with digital stories and e-Portfolios so would love to keep in touch.
