Online discussion: What makes online learning effective?

Wassila Mehanna is an independent eLearning and pedagogy consultant based in London, UK. Her recent research revolved around the online discussions and she has examined 6 million words of online interactions/discussions to tease out her model of effective online teaching and learning. This two week discussion will revolve around 'What makes online learning effective?' providing an opportunity to learn more about the theoretical and practical aspects of this question.
