will offer two workshops at the University of Canterbury on

Friday 28 October 2005
9.00 - 12.00
and
1.00 - 4.00 pm
UCTL Seminar Room (Law 426)

These two workshops are designed to complement each other and are planned in a flexible way to take account of the interests and objectives of the participants.
The morning workshop will be focused around Action Research – principles and practices
The afternoon one will look at Action Research – the implications and opportunities and how to evaluate it.

Jean is the author of several books about the practice, process and value of Action Research in an Educational context. Her latest publication is Action research: Principles and Practice, second edition (with Jack Whitehead) (2002), London, Routledge. She has supported and developed the potential of Action Research and is internationally recognised as a ‘guru” in this area. This is a workshop opportunity not to be missed.
