Well I'm back after a week's leave, time to read the latest Harry Potter. I'd like to say I was sunning my self on a hot beach but the weather in Christchurch NZ has turned rather autumnal and as I look out from my office this morning I can bearly see across the campus for the mist.
IEEE to digitize all their papers
"The IEEE has completed the first step in its plan to digitize all papers from its technology journals, back to each title's first issue.
IEEE has added to its online collection about 12,000 papers and articles published in the Proceedings of the IEEE from 1963 to 1987. The journal's contents from 1988 through the current issue are already available in digital format. Papers dating back to the first issue of the journal, published in 1913 as the Proceedings of the Institute of Radio Engineers (the name of an IEEE predecessor organization), will be online in early 2006. "
