Plagiarism

Kaironews led me to this New York Times Article Dear Plagiarists: You Get What You Pay For by Suzy Hansen who tried out shopping for book reports from cheat sites. There's the usual discussion about deterrents such as Turnitin.com but little comment at all about the role of education to ensure that students actually understand what plagiarism is and what they need to do to prevent it. Much more important a part of the process I think.
